When it comes to student life at Lincoln High School, only 14 percent of students feel as though they can talk to teachers, or a member of the staff about any personal or family issues that are constantly going on in their lives. This is a very small percent, teachers and staff should give comfort and support to students. This percentage shows that the staff there is possibly not completely connecting with the lives of their students, as they should be. Feeling as though they can't talk to anyone may reduce their quality in their school work and will to want to do succeed. A good teacher would connect one on one with their students, be welcoming, and be able to have a conversation to help and advise them. A small percentage of students reported that not getting along with their teachers is not a big hassle in school, and a larger percent of students reported that drug dealing and being robbed were bigger issues. This leads us to the health and safety SIC of the school. (Information Works)

Along with the student life, the health risks, and ways parents are able to be involved in their child's school career will also be discussed in the next selection.

For sports, they offer football, men and womens basketball, volleyball, soccer, lacrosse, swimming, track and field, and cross country. (LHS website) If someone wanted to look up information on the school, Lincoln provides a great website where there are links to the academics, programs, and other useful information. There are also pictures showing the involvement of students, and makes the page more intriguing for whoever is looking at the site.

Conclusion:

Lincoln High School overall would be a good school to send your child. The community is also a very nice one to live, which means that your child will probably have a good learning experienece, and also have a numerous amount of clubs, and extra curricular activities to participate in. Despite missing the accountablility target, the school still has it's many upsides, and has room to work on these targets.
